Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has revealed that he plans to retire from music in the next three to five years.
He shared this during an interview with Chude Jideonwo, a media personality.
Blaqbonez mentioned that he wants to build a lasting legacy and achieve financial security before stepping away from the industry.
“I will keep doing my music to the point where I know that I’ve saved up something that would last me for a lifetime; enough legacies. And I project I will be done in the next three to five years,” he said.
Talking about what’s next for him, the rapper hinted that he will still be part of the entertainment world, but in a different position.
“I will find another job in the entertainment industry. I would probably work as a consultant to a record label.”

In related news, Emeka Akumefule, also known as Blaqbonez, a famous Nigerian rapper, has spoken up about his upbringing.
In an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Blaqbonez revealed that his father abandoned him at infancy.
