Rapper Falz breaks silence amid nationwide protests, calls out president Tinubu

Falz, a Nigerian artist and rapper, has finally responded to the recent nationwide rallies against bad governance.

It is no longer news that Nigerians went on a statewide demonstration to end bad governance on August 1st; today marks the second day of the protest.

Falz, a well-known activist against terrible governance, took to the microblogging platform X to express his displeasure with President Tinubu’s inhumanity in not responding to the protest.

He questioned how long the president wants to continue pushing the masses until everything falls apart.

His words: “Genuinely don’t know why it’s so difficult to be humane. They say make you leave am, you no gree. Say na your birthright. You can’t now turn a deaf ear. You tried to make it look like the protests were “politically motivated”. Shebi una don see now? How long do you think you can keep on pushing the people back before it blows up in your face ?”

It is worth noting that Afrobeat award-winning artist Burna Boy recently gave over the title of “African Giant” to Falz after distancing himself from the nationwide protest that was canceled by Nigerians in 2020.

In other news, Nigerian comedians Denilson Igwe and Mark Angel are still fighting, so Denilson has gone out into public with a sign to protest on his own.

The content creator was angry and took to social media to say so. He was carrying a pink placard that said “Say no to intellectual property.”

This protest is happening at the same time that Denilson has been making a lot of claims against Angel in the past few weeks.

Denilson has made it clear that he doesn’t like Mark Angel, accusing him of stealing his ideas and treating him unfairly.

Emmanuella, a famous comedian who works with Mark Angel, was also involved in this argument, and Denilson says she was also used.

In his social media post, Denilson went further by making a provocative comparison, stating that some people in the industry were “worse than Hitler.”

This controversial comment that has sparked significant debate among his fans and followers.

The reactions to Denilson’s protest have been mixed. Some fans criticized his approach and urged him to move on, while others supported his stance and tagged Mark Angel in their comments.
