Nigerian rapper Panshak Henry Zamani, widely recognized as Ice Prince Zamani, faces allegations from his child’s mother, Abi, regarding his failure to fulfill his parental duties.
In an extensive message shared on her Instagram account, Abi detailed her challenges with Ice Prince, claiming that he has been disregarding the needs of their 12-year-old son, Jamal.
She posted: “I have tried to be civil @iceprincezamani, I’ve tried to be the bigger person and let things play out, but it’s been 12 years, and we are still on the same B.S! No child deserves this !!!”
She elaborated on her perspective by detailing the deterioration of their relationship. Nevertheless, even in the absence of their partnership and in light of his emotional manipulation, she remained unfazed, as the well-being of her child was her primary concern.
She explained, “Things went sour after I stood in as surety for Panshak during his police case. He left me at the court and took a job out of state during his bail hearing, leaving me to be remanded since I had stood in for him.
“I was scared, and rightfully so Instead of apologizing sincerely, all he did was gaslight me, as if he didn’t feel he had done anything wrong”
Abi asserts that Ice Prince has not fulfilled his responsibilities regarding Jamal’s welfare, resulting in her shouldering the entire burden. She contends that although she has strived to establish a stable environment for their child, Ice Prince’s support has been erratic, frequently leaving Jamal lacking essential items such as clean clothing and adequate provisions.
“Panshak couldn’t even ensure his child had clean clothes, water, or the provisions needed for a new school term. But when it’s time to post videos of his kid online, he’s all too eager.”
Abi’s post brought attention to multiple instances of Ice Prince’s purported neglect, particularly regarding his responsibility for Jamal’s health and welfare. She indicated that Jamal has been facing challenges with asthma, which she attributes to the inadequate conditions at his school.
“Jamal would fall sick at school, and I’d have to argue and cuss before his father would arrange for someone to take him to see a doctor.
I’ve been vocal about changing Jamal’s school because of the neglect there. A year after he started, he developed asthma. Through my findings, I realised the hostel walls had mold, which likely triggered his condition.” she added.
She further claimed that Ice Prince has been subjecting Jamal to unsuitable material and has not ensured a stable and supportive environment for their child. She revealed, “Or was it the time his father’s nephew used my child’s phone, and I found x-rated names saved in the contacts? That’s what my child is being exposed to under his father’s care.”
She ultimately conveyed the consequences of Ice Prince’s purported neglect, which adversely affected her child’s well-being.
Lamenting, she stated, “This morning, my child, his child, woke up in a worse condition, and his hostel master called Panshak’s PA, who instructed that they take him to the hospital -all without my knowledge. I decided to take some essentials to him, which is how I found out.
By the time I got to his hostel at 4 p.m., they were just making plans to take a sick child, a frail child to the hospital! He is just 12, Panshak!”

@theladycalled_kimani commented: ‘90% of baby mums go through this…….hence why i said if i don’t get married in this life i’m not having kids. There’s enough kids in dis world, if there’s no fatherly figure who’s my husband, i ain’t starting that journey at all. It takes a whole lot to raise a child. It’s too much stress on one parent especially in situations like this.”
