Nigerian rapper Jeriq has revealed why he has never been in a romantic relationship and shared his skepticism about love and loyalty.
Speaking during an interview on Glitch Africa, the rapper explained that he doesn’t believe in the traditional idea of relationships between men and women, particularly when it comes to exclusivity and loyalty.
“I don’t believe in the concept of a woman and a man being in a relationship. I don’t believe that a girl can be loved and be loyal to only me. I don’t believe that it’s possible.”
Despite his doubts, Jeriq admitted that if he ever meets a woman who is truly loyal and honest with him, he would be willing to return that love and commitment.
“If I see a girl who will be loyal to be only and be honest to me, I will love her and also stay loyal to only her. But it’s not possible.”
His candid remarks have stirred conversations online, with fans weighing in on his unconventional views about relationships.
