Nicki Minaj, a well-known rapper, might start producing more pop music.
She got the idea after observing how much fans like her pop song “Starships” at a recent show in Vienna, Austria.
After the show, she said, “Vienna, Austria, you guys were so amazing. When ‘Starships’ started playing, that’s when I knew the kind of crowd they were. Because you should’ve seen, they were doing circles in the crowd and just having their own moment. It made me feel like, ‘Oh my gosh, maybe I should make a couple more pop songs.’”
Nicki Minaj is widely regarded as one of the greatest female rappers of all time.
However, she is considering modifying her style slightly.
This is not uncommon in the rap industry. Other well-known rappers like as Drake, J.Cole, and Kendrick Lamar have recently begun to incorporate more pop elements into their music.
In other news, Popular music producer Michael Collins Ajereh, aka Don Jazzy, who also serves as the CEO of Mavins Records, has denied that Divine Okubor Rema’s contract with one of Nigeria’s leading music labels will be terminated.
Rumours have circulated that Rema has parted ways with Mavins and its affiliate, Jonzing World, which is controlled by Don Jazzy’s brother D’Prince.
In a recent online post, Don Jazzy conveyed a subtle statement about Rema’s supposed exit from Mavins Records.
Don Jazzy posted a photo of himself and Rema with Mavins’ Chief Operating Officer, Tega Oghenejobo, captioned “Mavins in Paris”.
Despite Don Jazzy’s dismissal of the claims, some internet users questioned Rema’s involvement with the Mavins label.
