Rapper, Rick Ross faces lawsuit over wheelchair accessibility for the disabled

Rick Ross, an American rapper and record executive, is being sued by a disabled man named Darris Straughter, who claims that his Car & Bike Show was not wheelchair accessible.

Straughter alleges he was unable to attend the event despite purchasing a ticket and informing organizers of his requirements two weeks ahead of time.

The plaintiff, who has been incapacitated since 2018, claims that the organizers promised refunds for those who could not attend the event but did not follow through.

Straughter is seeking damages and a court order forcing future events to provide adequate disability access.

The action, filed by attorney John Hoover Esq., accuses Ross of breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violating the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

In other news, Wanni, a contestant on Big Brother Naija, expressed her strong belief that she will reach the finale of the show.

During a discussion with Onyeka on Sunday, Wanni revealed that her main reason for joining the reality series is to enhance her public profile, and she is resolute in her commitment to remain in the competition until its conclusion.

She mentioned that she and her twin had left certain tasks incomplete to participate in the show, and she is determined to follow through to the end.

Wanni said …

“I’m here for publicity and here to stay till the last day. At the end of the day, we left work to be here. We were paid for 10 gigs and we did three, so we have work.”

It is noteworthy that Wanni and her twin sister, Handi, who form a DJ duo, have managed to avoid being nominated for possible eviction so far, never having fallen into the bottom four. The twins have been navigating the Big Brother Naija house together, leveraging their musical talents as DJs to connect with fellow housemates and audiences alike.
