  • A woman’s decision to remain in a toxic relationship with a wealthy man over a broke one has sparked reactions on social media.
    • She expressed her preference for being beaten by a man who pays her bills, rather than one who doesn’t beat her but doesn’t pay her bills.

A woman’s decision to stay in a detrimental relationship with a wealthy partner instead of being with a financially struggling individual has elicited responses on social media.

The woman, known only as Lizzy, expressed her views in a tweet on Monday.

She indicated that she would rather endure physical abuse from a man who covers her expenses than be with someone who does not inflict harm but also fails to support her financially.

She wrote, “I’d rather keep getting beaten by a nigga that pays my bills than stay with one that doesn’t beat me but doesn’t pay my bills.
It’s my choice and I have made it.”

He conveyed this sentiment in a tweet from his official account on X, previously known as Twitter, on Monday.

It is important to note that the online community has been buzzing in recent days following the death of an EFCC official, who was fatally shot during a raid on the residence of an alleged internet fraudster in Anambra.

In his response, Skales indicated that he harbors no sympathy for either the official or the Commission itself.

He recounted a personal experience in which EFCC agents conducted a raid on his home, stating that the trauma from that incident still lingers.

Skales expressed satisfaction with the outcome of the raid and emphasized that he will never forgive the Commission for the distress they caused his family.

He wrote, “It’s quite unfortunate that someone lost his life but they had it coming imagine the trauma I and my family still face till now.

“Good for them … my daughter was 6 months old and her mom dropped her out of fear and she burst her lip … good for them… I will never forgive them … I am so happy.”
