Habeeb Okikiola, a controversial singer known as Portable, faced trouble on Tuesday, May 14th when the Lagos State Police arrested him.
The arrest was related to an alleged unpaid debt for a Mercedes Benz G-Wagon. Portable had purchased the luxury SUV for N27 million but only paid N13 million initially.
The car dealer contacted him regarding the remaining balance, but Portable refused to make the payment, claiming there were mechanical issues with the vehicle.
Following a complaint filed by the car dealer, Portable was arrested by the police. Videos circulating online show the moment officers forcefully put Portable into their car after he resisted arrest.
In an attempt to escape, Portable was seen in a video climbing over a gate but was eventually apprehended.
The recent footage also shows Portable struggling with the policemen as they forced him into the vehicle.
