Nigerian comedy star Anita Asuoha, widely recognized as Real Warri Pikin, has launched her eagerly awaited web series, “Base On Street,” exclusively on her YouTube channel.

In a heartfelt message on X (formerly Twitter), Real Warri Pikin expressed her sincere appreciation to her fans, encouraging them to watch “Base On Street” on her official YouTube platform.

“Your love and support mean everything to me,” she wrote. “Keep streaming ‘Base on Street’ on REAL WARRI PIKIN YouTube Channel Only!”

The series features a talented cast, including Anita Alaire Asuoha (Real Warri Pikin), Ruth Dickson (Pretty Mamah), Nonso Adika-Afolabi, Oluwatosin (Bro Bouche), Akorede Ajayi (Korexx), and Alvin Odibo (Alvin of Lagos).

Directed by David Cliq, “Base on Street” narrates the story of Anita and Bella, two determined women who migrate from Warri to Lagos, only to encounter unexpected challenges in the bustling city. Through a comedic perspective, the series portrays the ups and downs of life in Lagos, showcasing relatable daily experiences that resonate with viewers. This entertaining and humorous series is set to captivate audiences and leave them eagerly awaiting future episodes.

As a versatile artist, Delta-born Real Warri Pikin has made her mark as a prominent stand-up comedian, actress, social media influencer, and radio host. Her journey to fame began in 2008 when she triumphed in the “Glo Rock ‘N’ Rule dance competition” and subsequently became a Globacom ambassador in 2009. She also achieved notable success in “The Maltina Dance All Family competition” in 2011, where she secured the second position with her family.

Real Warri Pikin boasts an impressive portfolio, having appeared in significant Nollywood films such as “Prophetess,” “Fate of Alakada,” “Aki and Pawpaw,” “Merry Men 2,” and “Lemonde.”

In January 2021, she debuted her series “School of Thought” along with a music single featuring the acclaimed artist Teni.

Her remarkable abilities have garnered her a multitude of honors, such as the 2022 Humor Awards for Most Creative Comedy Show and Stand-up Comedian of the Year, in addition to the African Choice Award for Comedy Act of the Year.
