Controversial Nigerian rapper, Blaqbonez has revealed why he didn’t feature Afrobeats star, David Adeleke aka Davido’s scene, in the music video of his new song, Back In Uni.

He released ‘Back In Uni’ on Wednesday, October 12, to massive positive reviews and controversial reactions.

In the self-directed video Blaqbonez recreated scenes from Wizkid’s “Bad To Me,” Oxlade’s “Ku Lo Sa” Ruger’s “Girlfriend,” Ayra Starr’s “Rush,” Fireboy DML’s “Bandana” amongst others.

Amid the hype, however, fans raised questions about why he did not include Davido. While some insinuated that he was not big enough which is why the rapper omitted him, others stated that he is too big to be ‘ridiculed’ like the other artistes in the video.

In response, Blaqbonez said that people are just trying to stir an agenda and though he loves such, there was actually a Davido scene which he could not achieve for reasons he did not disclose.

The ‘Haba Crooner’ noted that he has maximum respect for the DMW boss whom he addressed as 001.

He shared a screenshot of the video brief on PDF and wrote; ”I love a good agenda but the truth is we had a Davido scene that we couldn’t achieve for a bunch of reasons.

Director Blaqbonez 100% respects 001 🖤”
