Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham-Ajeyemi has shared her plans regarding the wedding of her colleague Iyabo Ojo’s daughter.
Priscilla and singer Juma Jux recently had an Islamic wedding in Tanzania and will also celebrate their marriage with more ceremonies in Lagos, Nigeria.
Toyin Abraham shared her intention to act like a typical African friend to the bride’s mother. The star of Alakada Bad and Boujee said she would wear slippers and stroll around the event hall without any specific purpose.
She mentioned that sometimes she would whisper in Iyabo’s ears, pretending that the celebrant needed her all the time.
Toyin stated that she would ask every guest if they had eaten, even the ones she didn’t plan to serve food to.
She wrote on Instagram:
“I can’t wait for JP25 wedding in nigeria, I will wear slippers and be walking up and down the hall looking for what is not loss and I will be talking in aunty iyabo’s ear like every minute so that everyone will think she can’t do without me and na me know her pass sharon n layole, I will be walking in a hurry and asking everyone if they have eaten including people I don’t even want to give food 😛 😂 😂.”
Priscilla’s traditional wedding in Nigeria is expected to bring together the top people in society. Iyabo Ojo, who often attends her friends’ events, will likely find many doing the same for her. Fans have pointed out that it’s time for the 47-year-old actress’s friends to return the kindness.
In response to the post, Regina Chukwu accused Toyin Abraham of a similar behavior at the funeral of Iyabo Ojo’s mother. Regina said she wasn’t surprised and was particularly taken aback when Abraham gave out fresh pepper as a keepsake.
