Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has sparked a wave of reactions online after posting a new TikTok video in which she takes on a popular challenge on the platform.

Her video comes shortly after businessman Obi Cubana’s adopted son, Chidi, created a stir with his own TikTok video about being the “next of kin,” which garnered mixed responses. Regina, following suit, shared a video of herself confidently raising her shoulders while vibing to a catchy tune. In her caption, she sent a clear message to her critics about her independence and inner strength.

She boldly wrote, “Nothing wrong with my shoulders, it’s just that my strength isn’t tied to anyone standing beside me. I stand firm.”

Additionally, in another caption, Regina further addressed her detractors, stating, “You all try to undermine me… no respect.”

Her TikTok post comes after Nigerians flooded her Instagram comments on a post she made about Iyabo Ojo and her daughter, Priscilla, offering their congratulations following Priscilla’s extravagant traditional wedding. Instead of focusing on the positive, many used the opportunity to criticize Regina’s marriage to businessman and senator Ned Nwoko. Regina’s defiant TikTok video seems to be her response to these ongoing comments and negative attention.
