“Remain small for us” – Billionaire daughter DJ Cuppy faces backlash for asking God to shower his blessings on her

Billionaire daughter Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola professionally known as DJ Cuppy has been labelled as a selfish person following her recent from God.

DJ Cuppy is under fire for requesting God to shower his blessings on her in a post made on  July 19th, 2024, on her verified page on the popular microblogging platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

In addition to being a DJ and philanthropist, DJ Cuppy is the daughter of Femi Otedola, Nigeria’s fourth richest person, who is worth $1.4 billion.

However, DJ Cuppy, who was born with a silver spoon, has gone to various countries around the world, and has access to the best education, among other things, sparked reactions with her tweet requesting God double her blessings.

DJ Cuppy tweeted, “Oluwa shower me your blessings x 2 🕊️📈‼️.”

Many social media users reacted strongly to DJ Cuppy’s statement, criticizing her for asking God for blessings  despite her family’s wealth.

Reacting to the post..

@Princez_eve: The one wey you get never reach you? Remain small for us Haba.

@LasuJesus: The ones he showered your family have you finished using it?.

@taaatibg: Why una dey attak rich kids? Na dem say make your Papa broke?? Leave them abeg.

@_lillyrunor1: Children are blessings, a good husband is a blessing, perfect health is a blessing….money isn’t the only blessing there is.

@her_ly5style_: Make unna leave her. Even Dangote still dey find money.

In other news, Actress Anita Joseph has stated that whatever she decides to post about her husband on social media is no one’s business.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, she added, “Many people make assumptions about my marriage, but that’s fine. People talk a lot online, but they should keep their ideas to themselves, and do what works for them.

“For people who make social media posts about their husbands and children, I have heard people say things like, ‘When it is beautiful, they won’t remember to post.’ Well, it’s a lie. Post your happy moments if you want to; it is nobody’s business. I don’t know why they troll people who recently got married. It happened to me too. If I want to make posts about my husband 50 times a week, I can. I don’t care what people have to say.”

“Marriage does not have a manual, so just do you. Everybody knows what works for them. I cannot share my ingredients with other people and expect it to work for them, because it might not turn out well. My husband and I actually dated for some time, and we had already built our marriage on the solid rock called Jesus Christ; and that is why we are still here. God has kept us because it has not been easy.”
