At the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja on Thursday night, a star-studded lineup of entertainment industry figures gathered for President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s pre-inauguration concert.

The ‘Renewed Hope Concert’ was planned to bring Tinubu’s supporters together in anticipation of his inauguration on May 29.

Eniola Badmus, a well-known actress and the head of the inauguration’s entertainment committee, posted a video from the occasion on Instagram.

She appeared in the video with Bella Shmurda, a singer, and other notable concert attendees.

The unique inaugural performance, which aimed to bring together A-list and Z-list singers displaying togetherness and a shared belief in a thriving Nigeria, excited Badmus, who stated it in her Instagram caption.

She wrote;

“Abuja is about to experience the first-of-its-kind inauguration concert featuring all the A-list artists from the Z-list just because we believe so much in Unity and One Nigeria. Election is over. Let us come together as one and make Nigeria great again. The New Era here is called RENEWED HOPE.”

The concert was a spectacle of musical performances, with over 46 musicians taking the stage to entertain the audience.

Renowned artists such as Buju, Waje, Brymo, Fireboy, Kaycee, Asake, Timaya, Pasuma, Naira Marley, Tony Tetuila, Seyi Vibes, and many other industry heavyweights delivered electrifying performances in honor of Bola Tinubu and his Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima.

Rising star Oniyide Azeez, popularly known as Zinoleesky, captivated the crowd with his performance, while veteran singer Wande Coal thrilled the audience with his soulful tunes.

The highlight of the evening came when veteran singer Inetimi Odon, also known as Timaya, took the stage, igniting excitement with his hit song ‘As e dey sweet us, e dey pain them.’
