Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, has slammed the presidency for attacking Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State over his criticism bothering on cattle ranching.
The presidency had on Wednesday, accused Governor Ortom of inciting ethnic hatred in the country.
In a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, the presidency said Governor Ortom had changed political parties five times, hence has no right to criticize the president.
Reacting, Reno said Buhari had also moved four times, stating that he should not be the one to throw stones.
The socio-political activist made the reaction in a post on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday night.
He wrote, “The Presidency, through Garba Shehu, slammed Benue Governor, Sam Ortom, as a man who has changed parties five times. What about Buhari?
“From APP to ANPP, to CPC, to APC? Buhari has changed parties almost as much as Ortom. He is in his fourth party. What about Garba Shehu himself, who was once a PDP Spokesman? Now, the former PDP Spokesman is lambasting his former party. Does that make sense?
“Politicians like Buhari and Garba, should not throw stones! How can Buhari, who raised up Umar Ganduje (alias Gandollar) hands and asked Kano people to vote for him, accuse anyone else of not having principles”?
