Reno Omokri has asked the Lagos state government to ”ship non-indigenes residing in the state back to their home states where they can express their grievances.”
In an Instagram post, Reno asked how a person from Abia state, where the state government reportedly owes workers salaries, could protest in Lagos, where state public servants and pensioners are promptly paid.
He claimed that non-indigenes were responsible for the wanton damage witnessed during the October 20, 2020 EndSARS rally in Lagos state, and that the state government should ensure that this does not happen again.
In other news, Deyemi Okanlawon, a Nigerian actor, explained in a recent interview how he handled a lady who claimed not to like Nigerian movies.
He stated that after the lady informed him that she does not like Nollywood movies, she asked to take a photograph, which he declined.
Going forward, he admitted that he may be petty and that he merely matches her enthusiasm. He also stated that he will not stand by and let someone trash his source of income as an actor.
Deyemi Okanlawon received a lot of support from netizens who considered the lady’s statement disgusting.
