Reno Omokri’s ex-wife, calls him out, accuses him of d0mestic @buse

  • Tuokpe, the estranged wife of political activist and author Reno Omokri, has publicly accused him of domestic violence during their marriage
    • Tuokpe shared her traumatic experiences on Instagram, including blood stains on her pillow and assaults that led her to seek police intervention
    • She criticized Omokri for seeking a partner who would conform to his controlling nature, contrasting her own upbringing with his alleged expectations
    • Tuokpe emphasized that no woman should endure abuse in any form

Tuokpe, the former wife of political activist and novelist Reno Omokri, has openly accused him of domestic @buse during their marriage.

The claims surfaced in a thorough Instagram post in which Tuokpe revealed her painful experiences and emphasized that no woman should be subjected to any sort of violence.

Tuokpe detailed a number of frightening instances in her article, including a particularly terrifying time when she found bl00d smears on her pillow from a perforated eardrum, which she said was inflicted by Omokri.

She also reported other attacks that prompted her to seek police help.

Tuokpe accused her former spouse of wanting a mate who would adhere to his dominating character, drawing a contrast between her own background and his purported demands.

    She wrote:

“No woman should ever tolerate abuse in a marriage, regardless of how infrequent it might be. We often make excuses like wanting to maintain a complete family or staying for the sake of the children. But the truth is, your children deserve better. After the first instance of violence, which left me with a swollen jaw and weeks of pain, I made excuses, thinking I must have provoked the anger. I even had to endure seeing my daughter witness another slap. And there was the morning I woke up to find blood on my pillow from a ruptured eardrum you caused. The final straw was when you assaulted me again, leading me to involve the police.

“Now you claim to be happily married to a woman who doesn’t ‘quarrel.’ Good luck to her, because you always wanted someone you could control and intimidate. I was never meant to be that person; I wasn’t raised to be timid.”
