A Nigerian man has spoken out against the Eko Electricity Distribution Company (EKEDC) after his prepaid meter consumed ₦150,000 in just 10 days.
Frustrated with the high costs, he asked to be switched back to estimated billing. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he requested the company to take back the prepaid meter, stating it was affecting his finances.
He wrote, “₦150k finished in 10 days. EKEDC, come and collect your prepaid meter back. Return me to estimated billing.”
His post attracted many comments from social media users who shared their opinions on the issue.
