Reverend Friday Imaekhai, has told President Buhari to use his government in decreasing the high rate of unemployment in the country.
He said creating jobs would be one of the greatest tools to combat crimes and other vices among the youths.
Imekhai explained while addressing the congregants during the Second Session of the Sixth Synod of the Esan Doicese, Anglican Communion, with the theme: Christian Stewardship, at Saint Mark’s Anglican Church, Ujoelen, Ekpoma, Edo State.
He said the government should do all the possible means to takle unemployment to reduce the growing fraudulent acts the youths engage in to sustain themselves.
In his words, he said:
“When the youths are provided job opportunities, the temptation of resorting to fraudulent practices to keep body and soul together will be greatly reduced, if not completely eliminated.
The great archbishop further tips the Buhari led federal government to prioritize Nigeria’s unity other than those things that disunite us, as the nation tends to achieve greater strength when it is united than when disunited.
