Rita Dominic is not in the UK as previously speculated, the screen diva has revealed that she is currently in Calabar, Cross River State, while dishing out good news to her fans about a movie she co-produced.
According to the actress, ‘La Femme Anjola’ a psychological thriller co-produced by her and directed by Mildred Okwo has just been released on Prime Video, more than a year after its release in cinemas.
Rita Dominic who doubled as the lead star of the movie made the announcement via her official Instagram handle, asking her fans to go run the numbers up.
“Hey fam, I am on set in Calabar and I heard the good news that our film #LaFemmeAnjola directed by @glazedlens, Produced by me and @glazedlens just dropped. Go run it up for me my people.”
‘La Femme Anjola’ tells the story of a young stockbroker whose life is dramatically changed when he falls in love with a married singer. Rita Dominic and Nigerian Idols star, Nonso Bassey co-star in the movie with the central character being Anjola.
Ego Boyo, Femi Jacobs, Paul Papel, Adejumoke Aderounmu, Bassey Ekpeyong, Chris Iheuwa, Browny Igboegwu, Shawn Faqua, and Kenyan actress Mumbi Maina also starred in the suspenseful film.
