Rita Edochie, a veteran actress, has corrected claims about her supposed kidnapping.
Speaking on her social media page, she stated that the write-up and film about the kidnapping released a few days ago were only for content reasons and did not portray a real-life occurrence.
Edochie stated clearly that she had not been kidnapped and expressed sorry that the post had caused sadness and triggered multiple issues.
In her words:
