Rivers: Gov. Fubara Signs 2024 Appropriation Bill into Law

Siminalayi Fubara Governor of Rivers State has ratified the N800 billion 2024 Appropriations Bill

 This occurs one day after he delivered the budget projections to the Edison Ehie-led State House of Assembly.

The signing ceremony took place in the Governor’s Office conference room at Government House on Thursday.

According to PUNCH, Fubara stated that eliminating socioeconomic inequality in the state and fostering inclusive growth will be the main objectives of the N800 billion budget for the 2024 fiscal year, which was presented to the legislature.

The N800, 392,485,433.01 billion, he continued, is made up of 410,266,485,090.64 in capital expenditures and 361,598,242,570.85 in recurring expenses.
