A road and bridge project, recently commissioned by Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, has been destroyed by heavy rains shortly after its completion.
The Eziukwu bridge and road, which were celebrated as important infrastructure upgrades, were officially opened on January 29, 2024.
Unfortunately, the recent rainfall revealed major construction issues, causing parts of the road to be washed away and the bridge to become unstable.
The residents, who were hopeful for improved connectivity and development, are now facing travel disruptions and growing dissatisfaction.
