Sandra Iheuwa, a Nigerian businesswoman, responded to a TikTok video by a user named @sephorastar_ in which she aired strong thoughts about baby mamas.
The lady’s video has received tremendous criticism for its derogatory statements about women who have children outside of marriage.
In a TikTok post, @sephorastar_ expressed her dislike for baby mamas.
In her words:
“I cannot be friends with baby mamas; I can never respect you. I will always question you like, ‘When are you gonna be married?’ So, why didn’t you get married before having your baby? We can never be friends if you don’t have a ring on your finger but have a baby.”
Her statements, which suggested that women should marry before having children, sparked outrage from many places.
Sandra Iheuwa, a well-known Nigerian entrepreneur and public figure, resorted to social media to respond to the contentious statements.
Sandra Iheuwa, who has had a complex personal path encompassing marriage, separation, and motherhood, expressed her thoughts on the matter.
In her statement, she emphasized the unpredictability of life and the potential judgmental views that others may hold toward single mothers.
“I was an ex-wife, then a baby mama, and then an ex-wife again… Life can humble you unless you are avoiding being a baby mama by having countless abortions. You are still a baby mama spiritually 😂,” Iheuwa said.
It is worth noting that Sandra Iheuwa is a mother to a child with Ubi Franklin, a prominent talent manager in Nigeria.
