Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has addressed the situation about her new movie featuring Yul Edochie.
Many people were surprised to see Yul in the film alongside Sarah, leading to some negative reactions online.
This is mainly because Sarah was once close friends with Yul’s second wife, Judy Austin, but has often criticized the couple and now supports Yul’s estranged wife, May.
Addressing the backlash over claims of deception, the actress released a clip from her latest movie, explaining it was produced two years ago.
Sarah Martins pointed out that the video was shared online for the first time a week ago and stated she has no dealings with Yul and his team.
She also responded to claims that she was pretending to be angry with Yul Edochie, clarifying that her issues with him do not stop her from working alongside him.Sarah Martins wrote:
“The Balthazar of Nigeria
Someone sent me this video..
Pls this movie was produced 2yrs ago and uploaded last week I have no business with Yul and his cohorts!
I see people bashing me telling me l’m only pretending to be angry at him etc omo una really need to borrow sense!
And mind you all, being in enmity with a colleague doesn’t stop me from working with them provided is not my personal production so biko be guided.”
