Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has said that for now, President Muhammadu Buhari is not coming back to Nigeria, but his return to Nigeria is drawing closer.
Saraki made this disclosure on Friday, this after visiting the ailing President in the Abuja House, London, together with Speaker of the House Of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, on Thursday.
His words:“It is clear that Mr President’s insistence on following his Doctors’ advice, has yielded the desired results,” Saraki said.
“I therefore, confidently look forward to Mr President’s imminent return home soon.”
Recall, that Buhari has spent more than 100 days in London, having left Nigeria on May 7, transferring power to Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo.
Recall also, that Saraki and Dogara visited President Muhammadu Buhari in London, on Wednesday.
This was made known by Lauretta Onochie, Special Assistant to the President on Social Media.
“President Buhari receives in audience, Senate President, Bukola Saraki, and Speaker of House of Representatives Hon. Yakubu Dogara, at the Abuja House London, on 17th Aug. 2017”, Lauretta posted on her Facebook page.
