Sarkodie Tags Burna Boy as New Cat, Rates Himself Above Wizkid and Davido In New Song

Famous Ghanaian rapper and composer Sarkodie is in the headlines again as he fires shots at Wizkid, Burna Boy, and Davido in his latest hit song titled “Brag”

Sarkodie, 38, who has been in the music industry for almost 19 years, discusses Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy, as well as his rise to stardom, in his new song.

In the song’s lyrics, Sarkodie mentions Burna Boy as a new cat, among Asake and Black Sherif, and so places himself ahead of Wizkid and Davido.

Sarkodie, who is recognised for his extraordinary rapping talents, stated that Wizkid entered the African music genre known as Afrobeats while already making music.

David Adeleke, better known as Davido, rose to prominence when he was already making strides in the music industry.

He added that Grammy Award Winner Odogwu later came alongside Black Sherif and Asake, the “Lonely at the top” hitmaker.

He added that if they want to compare him to anyone then people should talk about Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole.

In his words; “Wizkid came, I was already doing it, Davido started, I was improving it, then Odogwu came through Black Sherif & Asake”

He added; “My biggest competition is Kendrick and Cole.”
