Scary moment EFCC operatives engaged party thugs in gun battle in Owerri [Video]

A video making the rounds online shows operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) thwarting an alleged vote buying attempt in Owerri, Imo state.

It was said that agents of a particular party stormed a polling unit with thugs and were engaging in vote buying until EFCC arrived.

Officials of the anti-graft agency engaged the party thugs in a hot pursuit and it led to a gun exchange.

In the video, the security agents could be seen firing gunshots and hopping into their trucks to chase off the thugs.
