The son of former vice-president and former presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar has revealed his father would run again for presidency come 2023.
Adamu disclosed this in his presentation of the one-year score card of his ministry as the Commissioner for Works and Energy in Adamawa State.
“Personally, I don’t see anything wrong with my father contesting for the presidency.
“In 2023, my father will be aspiring to the number one office in the land because he has been an astute, strategic, master politician for almost four decades,” Adamu said.
Recall Atiku had contested in 2019 for presidency under PDP party and lost to the incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
Buhari had polled 15,191,847 votes, while Atiku got 11,262,978 votes.
Atiku also lost at the Presidential Election Petitions Tribunal and Supreme Court.
