The owner of Capital Oil, Ifeanyi Ubah, has denied the reports making round, that he was arrested by operatives of the Department of State Security Services, DSS.
“If I am arrested, I would not be talking with you now. They should continue writing, but those who are in doubt, should come and watch the football match tomorrow, because I would be there,” Ubah told the Guardian.
In addition, an Aide of the Businessman, who would not like his name in print, said all attempts to smear the good name his boss has earned, would be in futility.
“I can tell you that my boss’ good name in the country today cannot be smeared. He is a hardworking Businessman. All these propaganda about him is because he has become a big force to be reckoned with in Nigeria.”

The multi-billionaire, Ifeanyi Ubah, owner of Capital Oil, has been allegedly arrested and detained by the President Muhammadu Buhari-led Department of the State Security Services, DSS.
The arrest according to findings, is connected to the role he played in the fraud saga rocking the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC.
