The residents of Uzere Community in the Isoko South area of Delta State, were left in total shock in the early hours of Monday after the discovery of the severed head of an unidentified man close to a junction in the area.
It was gathered that residents of the area who thronged the scene, could not identify the deceased because there was no body.
Spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, Andrew Aniamaka, who confirmed the incident, said the head was deposited in the Oleh Central Hospital morgue, adding that investigation into the matter has commenced.
