Nigerian artist Shallipopi has once again proven his generosity by gifting a fan ₦1 million.
A random fan recently took to X (formerly Twitter) to express admiration for Shallipopi’s song Laho, writing:
“Laho, Shallipopi is that song fr!
On repeat, and I feel richer than the 2k in my account.
Shalli fuhking poppi.”
Touched by the fan’s enthusiasm and honesty about his financial situation, Shallipopi responded:
“Drop your account details, let me make you feel richer than 2k.”
The fan promptly provided his details, and true to his word, Shallipopi transferred ₦1 million. The overwhelmed recipient later shared a screenshot of the transaction, captioning it:
“Shalli Fuhking Poppi
@plutomaniapopi.”
This generous act has attracted widespread admiration, further solidifying Shallipopi’s reputation for appreciating and giving back to his supporters.
Notably, this isn’t the first time the artist has shown such kindness. In November 2024, he made headlines for gifting a fan $1 million to assist with post-NYSC plans.

In other news, Dapper label, previously home to Seyi Vibez and Shallipopi until his exit on December 11, has also lost another artist, Muyeez, whose real name is Moshood Abdulmuiz.
Shortly after Shallipopi’s announcement, Muyeez shared his own departure on social media.
He revealed that he signed with Dapper when he was still a minor.
He shared that he sometimes went to bed feeling embraced by the label, which didn’t seem to care about his health.
The young artist, whose music is popular, revealed that the label hasn’t paid him his royalties and suggested he might pursue legal action.
