Nigerian music star Crown Uzama, popularly known as Shallipopi, is gearing up to take TikTok by storm with an exciting new dance challenge for his hit track, “Laho.”
Shallipopi dropped “Laho” on February 21, 2025, as his first official release under his independent label, Plutomania Records. The song quickly gained massive popularity, securing the #17 spot on the Global Shazam Chart and topping Apple Music rankings in 10 African countries.
In the United States, the track climbed to #8 on the Billboard Afrobeats Chart (March 4, 2025), while in the UK, it peaked at #3 on the Afrobeats Chart (March 2, 2025). On Spotify, “Laho” achieved an impressive 600,000 streams in a single day (March 1, 2025), making it Shallipopi’s most-streamed solo track to date.
The energetic music video, directed by Perliks Definition, was officially released on March 7, 2025, amplifying the song’s popularity.
Now, Shallipopi is taking things a step further by introducing a TikTok dance challenge to engage fans. In a recent Instagram post, he teased the challenge, encouraging Gen Z audiences to join the viral movement. With his strong social media influence, this challenge is poised to become the next big trend.
