The Black Panther African premiere took place in Lagos on Saturday, 5th November, and was well-attended by celebrities.
Many celebrities made sure to rock styles as depicted by the theme of the movie. Most outfits, especially those of BBNaija alumnus were designed by Lagos-based stylist, Toyin Lawani.
All was well and good until it was spotted that Hermes, who represented the late, Chadwick Boseman had the wrong spelling of his name printed boldly behind his outfit.
Printed boldly behind the outfit was “R.I.P Chad Boswick”. Nigerians were not going to have that as most took to Twitter to slam the designer and Hermes himself. Reality tv star, Vee also bore her displease, as she tweeted; “Chad Boswick” has been killing me all daycrying emoji”
Jeffrey Uzor has called out popular fashion designer, Toyin Lawani aka Tiannah for misspelling the late Chadwick Boseman’s name.
For an event tagged #wakandaforever that was held in Lagos last night, Tiannah who designed former BBNaija star, Hermes outfit used the late Chadwick Boseman’s name on his attire but misspelled it.
Chadwick Aaron Boseman was an American actor. He died in 2020 after being diagnosed with colon cancer.
