Veteran Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun has publicly spoken about the heartbreaking loss of his eldest daughter, Zeenat Balogun.
Renowned for his contributions to the Yoruba film industry, the actor utilized Instagram to convey an emotional message on behalf of his family, expressing their heartfelt gratitude to friends, colleagues, and supporters who have stood by them during this challenging period.
Balogun shared a screenshot of the family’s official statement, highlighting their profound appreciation for the overwhelming love and support received.
The family characterized the late Zeenat as a “warrior” who embraced life with vigor and unwavering determination. She was fondly remembered for her steadfast belief in the motto “never give up.”
The statement reads:
“We extend our sincerest gratitude to everyone who reached out to my family during this difficult time. We have been deeply moved by the overwhelming care, the heartfelt messages, and the many condolence visits. Your presence, prayers, and acts of kindness have truly touched our hearts. The love and support from friends, neighbors, and even those we have not seen in years have been a constant source of strength.
