Shina Peller, a former federal lawmaker and entertainment mogul, has set the record straight about rumors linking him to the TikTok creator, Peller.
In a recent interview with Channels TV, he denied any family ties to the comedian.
He noted that the surname “Peller” comes from his father, Professor Peller, a famous magician.
Shina Peller made it clear that the TikTok star is not related to them.
He mentioned that the comedian’s clever use of the name has played a role in his success.
Shina Peller said:
“I have heard about the TikTok star Peller and a lot of people have asked me whether he’s a member of our family.
“Truly, Professor Peller’s family is quite extended, but he is not a member of the family.
“The name ‘Peller’ was given to our father as a magician and it’s a name that the family has adopted since the time of my father.
“So, Peller, the comedian is not a member of the Peller family. It’s a successful name. He’s just being smart. He’s being able to pop with the name. You can’t blame him but I can tell you categorically that he’s not a member of the Peller family.”
