Damini Ogulu aka Burna Boy, a popular Nigerian performer, has ignited an internet discussion following an on-stage incident with a backup vocalist.
A video recently circulated online showing the Grammy-winning artist yelling a command at his backup vocalist while playing in front of a huge crowd.
Burna Boy began singing Wizkid’s Ginger song on stage, and the backup vocalist joined in.
The music artist was not amused with the interruption and told the backing vocalist to’shut up’.
Burna Boy’s order was met with laughs and yells from the audience. The Grammy-winning singer then directed his staff to perform his smash song, Ye, instead.
