Odumeje, a controversial cleric, has disclosed why he has been fasting and praying from 1996 until the present.
He announced this to his congregation during the church service.
According to him, he seldom eats since he is continuously in prayer and fasting, which he has done since 1996.
He said that he seldom eats at home and instead prays and fasts every day.
“I’m not a guy for eating. I have been fasting and praying since 1996 and continue to do so now. That is why, when you come to my home, no one will enquire whether you want to eat,” he remarked in part.
