Okoli Classic, a Nigerian girl, has risen to prominence after getting a significant present from none other than Davido, the renowned artist and head of the DMW record label.

The young lady rose to prominence after a comical video she posted on social media drew the attention of not just her admirers, but also Davido.

Okoli Classic was recorded in the now-viral video humorously attempting to pass off a bowl of soaking garri as fried rice.

Davido, who was amused by Okoli’s unique approach to the culinary arts, decided to show his gratitude for Okoli’s content by donating her a large sum of N2 million.

The unexpected windfall left Okoli utterly stunned, and her emotional reaction was captured in a subsequent Instagram video.

In this new video, the overwhelmed content creator expressed her gratitude to Davido for his kind gesture.

However, Okoli’s newfound fortune did come with a minor hiccup.

Her phone apparently struggled to handle the sheer excitement of the moment and failed to operate as usual since she received the heartwarming message from Davido.

Faced with technical difficulties brought on by what she humorously referred to as her “village people,” Okoli took the incident in stride, announcing her plans to purchase a new phone.

“My phone no gree on since morning, is it not my village people, my phone can’t carry the message, Happiness wan kee mee I don’t know what I want to say,” she said in the video.

In another touching clip, Okoli Classic was seen offering prayers for both Davido and celebrity blogger Tunde Ednut, who had shared her initial video, thus contributing to her newfound fame.

Okoli, who claims to have never seen N100,000 naira before in her entire life, was deeply moved by the recognition she received from these notable figures due to the substantial sum of money she had been gifted.
