The musician discusses the unexpected source of motivation that spurred him to pursue a career in music.

1Da Banton talked about his contributions to Davido’s songs after the artist appeared  as guest on the Afrobeats Podcast. He revealed that he was the  author of “No Competition lyrics.”

Additionally, 1Da Banton revealed that he worked on the production of “Na Money,” another Davido song featuring Grammy-winning Beninese vocalist Angelique Kidjo and “The Cavemen.”

“I wrote ‘No Competition’ featuring Asake and produced Davido’s ‘Na Money’ with Cavemen,” he revealed.
