Singer Adele officially announces her engagement to Rich Paul

Well-known British singer Adele has apparently announced her engagement to her American partner, Rich Paul.

During a show in Munich, Germany on August 9, the ‘Hello’ singer shared the news about her upcoming marriage.

She seemed to notice a person holding a sign that read, “Will you marry me?”.

She read the message aloud but responded, “I can’t marry you because I’m already engaged, so I can’t, but thank you for your kind words.”

Adele then showed the audience what looked like an engagement ring, which made the crowd cheer.

She didn’t reveal who she is marrying, but fans think it might be her boyfriend, Rich Paul.

The singer and the US sports agent have been together since 2021.

She was formerly married to Simon Konecki, with whom she has a son.

Despite being a straight woman, the Grammy-winning singer admits she frequently feels like “a gay man.”

Addressing the audience at her recent sold-out show in Munich, Germany, the 36-year-old said she feels “trapped.”

She went on: “I often think I’m a gay man trapped in a straight woman’s body.”

Adele recently declared in an interview with German broadcaster ZDF that she would be taking a break from music to pursue new creative endeavors after the final leg of her current tour in November.
