The Nigerian musician Chike has released the official video for his hit song ‘Egwu,’ which features the late singer Mohbad.
Chike stated on Instagram about the video: “It was difficult, but I am honored to celebrate music and my friend @iammohbad with this visual.” #Egwu”.
“Egwu” was first released in 2023, shortly after Mohbad’s death.
The vibrant graphics begin with a sight of various dancers swaying to the song’s beat.
It also has photos of Mohbad prominently shown throughout the film.
Chike paid tribute to the late street pop artist by flawlessly incorporating his visuals into the song video.
The video then shows Chike playing alone in style before returning to the happy dancing scene.
Pink directed the ‘Egwu’ graphics.
