Nigerian singer, Akinmayokun Awodumila better known as May D has stated that he was never compensated by P-Square for any of the gigs he did during his time with the group.
May D, who already had a few of success songs while with PSquare and Jude Okoye, revealed that he was never paid for any of the shows he played while with the label.
During an interview with rapper Ikechukwu, popularly known as Killz, the musician, who left Square Records in 2013 to start his ownnamed Confam Records.
The singer stated that everything was well between him and Square Records till he sought a contract.
He explained that he joined the label without signing documents, and even after he had hit songs, he remained unsigned because he preferred being an artist.
However, things took a turn for the worst when he became more corporate and requested a contract.
