Nigerians have flocked to social media to express their feelings as famed artists Portable and Goya Menor bury the hatchet and put an end to their two-year feud.
The conflict between them began in 2022, when Goya Menor won the “Best Street-Hop” award at the 15th Headies.
Portable, on the other hand, claimed he earned the honor more than Ameno Amapiano and that he had more hits than the Benin-born musician.
The Zeh Nation boss, who referred to Goya as a hype man, inquired how many famous songs his colleague released that prompted the award organisers to name him the winner.
His remark sparked a social media exchange in which Menor boasted that they are not on the same level given his educational background as someone who nearly graduated with first-class honors from university.
However, the duo reunited a few days ago after appearing to have resolved their problems and decided to record a track.
Portable and Goya Menor’s studio session [song], named ‘Awiloh’, has finally been released with a music video. It is worth noting that he also allowed Portable to touch the Headies prize plaque during the music shoot.
