Nigerian artist Portable has publicly announced a dispute with the residents of Ibadan, urging them to vacate Lagos if they do not wish for him to be present in their city.
This declaration was made in a post that rapidly gained attention on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
In his message, the artist conveyed his discontent, asserting that if the people of Ibadan wish to escalate the situation into a confrontation, he is ready to engage.
He further stated that if they no longer desire his presence in Ibadan, then those from Ibadan residing in Lagos should also prepare to leave.
His statement read: “If it’s fight, let’s do it. You don’t like us anymore, and we don’t like you either. If I shouldn’t come to Ibadan again, all Ibadan people must go.”
He added, “All Ibadan people in Lagos, pack your things and go. Ibadan must leave Lagos. If you tell me not to come to Ibadan, then all of Ibadan in Lagos must go too.”
