In other news, The dispute between the family of Adaobi Alagwu and billionaire Tunde Ayeni continues over the DNA situation.
The Alagwu family has returned her dowry.
This return occurred during the ongoing court case related to the DNA issue between the businessman and the Abuja lawyer.
In a viral video, the representative of Adaobi family said “We are here to return her dowry and if we agree together, she will cease to have anything to do with Tunde.
“She will cease in communication and the other part of the family will go into withdrawal, so that everybody will love their normal life. As far as everybody is concerned Adaobi ceases to have anything to do with Tunde today.
“By the grace of God, we have resolved to move our lives forward.”
Earlier, the lawyers for Adaobi have rejected the claims that she was not married to the businessman. They reaffirmed that Mr. Ayeni is indeed the biological father of her daughter, Omarosa Abimbola Ayeni.
In their statement, they mentioned that the traditional marriage rites between Ms. Alagwu and Mr. Ayeni were conducted legally, including the bride price payment.
Alagwu’s lawyers argued that she was already pregnant with her daughter, Omarosa Abimbola Ayeni, before the marriage took place.
They also pointed out that the DNA Diagnostics Centre (DDC) in the UK confirmed that Ayeni is indeed her child.
He stated that the results were planned to be released in five days. However, a letter emerged, allegedly from the testing center, which delayed the release by two days.
Ayeni further explained that when he contacted the center, they claimed they had no information about the letter or the signer.
“This document does not reflect the genuine results we expected. It became necessary to address this matter publicly due to the inconsistencies we observed during the testing process.
“We discovered irregularities suggesting that an external party may have accessed our email communication with the laboratory. As a result, we lost confidence in the process and sought a new test from a different facility, which Ms Alagwu declined,” he said.
