This tour is anticipated to provide an extraordinary experience for his fans, featuring performances in major locations such as London, New York, Paris, Berlin, and Tokyo, among others.

Rema’s world tour underscores his expanding global reach and popularity, significantly bolstered by the acclaim of his Grammy-nominated album, HEIS.

This album highlighted Rema’s distinctive fusion of Afropop and international influences, marking a pivotal moment for Nigerian music and solidifying his position as a leading figure in the genre.

With the release of his latest single, “Baby (Is it a Crime),” Rema has once again showcased his talent for crafting infectious and memorable songs that resonate with audiences globally.

The track’s use of a sample from Sade Adu’s 1985 classic “Is It A Crime” enhances its enduring charm and reflects Rema’s dedication to honoring the foundational elements of Afropop.

In other news, Controversial Nigerian artist Habeeb Olalomi Badmus, also known as Portable, has reportedly faced another setback after the Ogun State government allegedly blocked off his unfinished hotel.

According to circulating sources, the government’s action stems from the singer’s alleged assault on municipal planning officials, which resulted in the arrest of some of his colleagues, while Portable continues on the run.

Portable, who earlier boasted about the hotel project on social media, is claimed to have built the structure near a mosque in Ogun State.

The latest photos circulating online show officials investigating the property, with some attempting to lock and shut the entry while wearing reflective jackets.

The singer’s issues allegedly began when he and his team fought town planning authorities during an inspection, prompting legal action.

In response to the circumstance, Portable apparently blamed his father for failing to interfere despite receiving financial assistance from him.

The development has elicited diverse reactions from netizens, with many expressing their thoughts on the singer’s current dilemma.
