Singer Michael Olayinka, better known by his stage name Ruger, has been spotted interacting backstage with fellow artistes Crown Uzama, also known as Shallipopi, and Divine Ikubor, better known by his stage name Rema.
In a video shared on the photo-and video-sharing platform Instagram, Ruger can be seen exchanging pleasantries with Shallipopi, while at the Wireless Festival in London, Zerry DI and Rema shake hands.
Another highlight from the festival includes Ruger’s appearance with DJ Cuppy in a segment titled ‘Quick Wire Questions.’Seated with microphones in hand, DJ Cuppy encouraged Ruger to express his ambitions. She said:
”This is your chance to put yourself out there, you know shoot that shot. If you could work with any other artiste, I mean we have so many…”
Ruger answered right away, “Doja Cat,” and DJ Cuppy replied, “Oh, he said it. He knows what he wants.”
The Wireless Festival, an annual celebration of rap and hip-hop, is owned and managed by Live Nation and has become a key event in London’s music scene.
The three artists performed at the 2024 edition, which took place from July 12 to July 14.
