Singer Simi Addresses Violence against Women in Nigeria

Simi has addressed violence against women and children in a passionate Instagram post.

The singer has been quite vocal of late, condemning a number of ills in the society. This time, she’s creating awareness about the abuse women suffer and how they are silenced by family, the church and the government.

She acknowledged that men suffer abuse too but said that women and children are more susceptible to abuse and as such should be protected.
