Oludipe Oluwasanmi David, known professionally as Spyro, has expressed his frustrations regarding the challenges of being a celebrity in Lagos, remarking that “Billings choke.”
On Wednesday, the artist shared a troubling incident he faced in Lagos as a public figure through his Instagram account.
He recounted receiving a barrage of insults from an individual after he had promised to assist him the following day, as he was unable to do so at that moment.
The singer, famous for his hit song “Who’s your guy,” revealed that he typically spends at least N100,000 each time he steps out and estimates his annual expenditure to be around N15 million.
He wrote, “If I enter restaurant, Billings go dey wait me outside, I enter church, same thing…Enter estate, same, carry phone enter online, na same same.
“Everybody wants to take, but nobody dey give you and nobody thinks of how you are faring.
“S/O to every one of my colleagues out there going through this, y’all are the real MVPs and I celebrate you.”
